Welcome to September and welcome to Spring.

This month we’re thrilled to introduce a new award-winning cheesemaker to the Therapy Box: Woombye Cheese, and their Blackall Gold washed rind.

Founded in 2013 by Graeme and Karen Paynter in the Sunshine Coast hinterland on Kabi Kabi Country, Woombye is now in the hands of Beth O’Leary and her family. Under Beth’s leadership, it has become a beacon of Australian cheesemaking, celebrated for bold washed rinds and decadent triple creams. Every wheel speaks of place — local milk, local skill, and a deep drive to keep small-batch cheesemaking alive.

Woombye’s Blackall Gold Washed Rind begins mild and creamy, then matures into a rich, pungent cheese with its signature golden-orange rind. Crowned Champion Queensland Cheese and winner of multiple national awards, it’s one of Australia’s most celebrated washed rinds.

Joining Woombye this month are La Cantara, Gold Coast Cheese, and Nimbin Valley Dairy, together representing both north and south, and the breadth of our cheesemaking regions.

If your order arrives in less than perfect condition due to an error by us or the courier, please notify us and we will provide a replacement or a refund.
