Apricot Kernel Oil is an outstanding product with loads of culinary potential. Artisan Mills pressed locally-grown apricot kernels using a 300-year-old Slovenian method.
Bursting with flavours and aromas of amaretto and marzipan. Use it over grilled stone fruit, in ice creams and salads.
An interesting note
Whilst apricot kernels are prohibited for sale in Australia, apricot kernel oil is safe for human consumption. The process of naturally pressing kernels into an oil separates the harmful components but retains all of the wonderful flavour and perfume.
