This is Christmas Day gift for My Brither.
The cheeses from our box that we’ve tried so far have been delicious but 5 out of the 7 were bries or camemberts or similar and 3 out of the 7 were from the same dairy. In the past the mystery boxes I’ve received have had a lot more variety so this one is pretty disappointing. I’ve had to go out and buy more cheese from other providers so I can offer some variety on my boards.
This was a complete waste of money out of 10 cheeses only 2 had a best before date longer than a week from arrival. One was best before the very next day. The mystery box is advertised as a way to try different cheeses not as close to best before dates. After emailing the company they offered me voucher for $50 discount off my next order!! Not wasting another cent on cheeses that won't last till the weekend!!! Please see the way it's advertised with nowhere stating it is close to the best before date, I would NEVER spend $130 on something that is expiring so soon especially soft cheeses! That's still $13 a cheese which is WAY over priced for something that won't last by the weekend!
The cheeses are super as they always are, but I was disappointed that the use by dates on some of the cheeses were so immediate. Imhad hoped to use them at function closer to Christmas,but. have had to use them already.
